Add only if your home needs it

  • Cordless drill if immediate assembly/repair work justifies it.

  • Wet/dry vacuum for garage, basement, or renovation needs.

Skip for now

  • Large matched furniture sets.
  • Specialty kitchen appliances.
  • Full workshop equipment.
  • Permanent closet systems.

Recommended purchase order

  • Safety/access first.
  • Sleep, bathroom, kitchen, and cleaning functionality second.
  • Basic repair capability third.
  • Furniture and storage after measuring.

Keep the pack flexible

Brand loyalty is less important than compatibility, availability, repairability, and total cost. If you already own a good product in one category, keep it and redirect the budget to a real gap elsewhere in the house.

Starter packs are planning tools, not a requirement to purchase every item. Remove anything your home, lease, HOA, climate, or routines do not need.
